Seychelles
The Seychelles is a tapestry of more than 100 exquisite island jewels on an azure expanse of Indian Ocean about 575 miles northeast of Madagascar. These tiny specs of intense green islands are comprised of coral atolls and stunning lagoons fringed with golden sands.
Swaying coconut fronds, the sweet scent of frangipani flowers, dramatic orange sunsets, lush plantations and colourful flora are an intrinsic part of the sheer magic and natural beauty of these remote islands, which remain virtually untouched by the modern world.
While most visitors are drawn to the pristine beaches and turquoise waters the Seychelles is also home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the legendary Vallée de Mai on Praslin Island where the wondrously shaped Coco-de-mer nut grows high on ancient palms. Another natural wonder is fabled Aldabra, the world’s largest raised atoll, first seen by Arab seafarers in the 9th Century.
Day and night temperatures in the Seychelles range between 28 and 34 degrees celcius, which makes these islands perfect for those wanting an extra special holiday to relax and rejuvenate before returning home revived and refreshed.

The Seychelles have earned a reputation as a paradigm of ecotourism and it is a sanctuary for some of the rarest species of flora and fauna on earth with unique endemic specimens such as the fabulous Coco-de-mer, the largest seed in the world, the jellyfish tree, with only eight surviving examples, the Seychelles’ Paradise Flycatcher and Seychelles Warbler. Additionally, Seychelles is a home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the world’s largest raised coral atoll Aldabra and Praslin’s Vallée de Mai, once believed to be the original site of the Garden of Eden. On top of exceptional ultra luxurious options, the Seychelles has plenty of fantastic affordable self catering facilities and guesthouses. Visit Seychelles and experience the holiday you will never forget!
