You will begin by visiting the Great Wall at Badaling, 45 miles northwest of Beijing, which provides the perfect opportunity to see the countryside surrounding the city. Then it’s on to the Forbidden City and the Temple Of Heaven where the Ming and Qing Dynasty Emperors and Empresses lived and ruled from 1420 to 1924.
