Culture City - Chengdu 3 Nights/4 Days You start this tour with a visit to Du Fu Cottage and a stunning performance at Sichuan Opera. Next is a visit to the Chengdu Panda Research Centre to see the world famous pandas. This is followed by a drive to Sanxingdui to visit Sanxingdui Museum with its exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from the sacrificial pits of the Shang Dynasty (from 16th - 11th Century BC) where thousands of invaluable bronze, jade, gold, pottery and relics are on exhibition. Next you will see Jinli Old Street, once the commercial heart of the old kingdoms, which has been fully restored in traditional Sichuan style. There, you will get to sample local arts and crafts, traditional Chinese goods, food and delicacies.
