Addo Elephant National Park (Full Day). Highlight of this full day tour including picnic lunch is the Addo Elephant National Park, a unique centre for the conservation of the African Elephant and home to the densest population of elephant in the world. Expect wonderful close encounters with the elephant and other mammals. The original park was created in 1931 when only eleven elephants remained in the area, but today this finely tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to over 450 f these powerful animals. You can also see Cape buffalo, black rhino and a variety of antelope species, as well as the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
Pumba Private Game Reserve (Half Day). An exciting late afternoon or evening tour with dinner, the Pumba Private Game Reserve trip allows you to seek out Africa's ‘Big Five’ (lions, leopards, elephant, buffalo and rhinos). Experience Africa’s other wonders, too, from the giraffe to the antelope and more than 300 species of bird. This reserve offers the rare opportunity of a glimpse of the magnificent White Lion, stalking prey or just lazing under the trees in its natural environment. There will be high tea on arrival, followed by a 2.5 hour game drive in an open safari vehicle under the guidance of an experienced game ranger, and then a buffet-style dinner with South African cuisine in an African bush 'boma' (enclosure) under the stars.
