The essential introduction to London, it offers complete hop-on hop-off flexibility. Tours are daily.
Majestic London City Tour (Half Day). Experience the sights of London, the pageantry, ceremony and splendour of the city. The tour begins with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square, to see Westminster Abbey, where many British Kings, Queens, statesmen and poets are buried. There is also ( except on Sundays) a guided tour of Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece, St Paul’s Cathedral, crowned by the magnificent dome that is so much a part of the London skyline and the venue for the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer. Next, the ceremony no visitor to London wants to miss out on - the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, with its colourful pageantry and ceremony set to the stirring tunes of the regimental band. Don’t forget your camera! Time then for a well earned lunch (at extra cost) aboard one of London’s finest restaurants, The RS Hispaniola, moored on the banks of the River Thames. After lunch we join a Thames river cruise with stunning views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. Then it’s onto the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels and steeped in centuries of murder, treason and the untold secrets of the condemned. The splendidly dressed Beefeaters will tell you all about the Tower’s history. We conclude in the square mile of the City of London, where you can see the glorious dome of St Paul’s Cathedral, the elegant Mansion House, home to the Lord Mayor of London, and the nearby Bank of England, known as the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street.
